I need your help. I am not a person who likes to ask for help. Call it pride, call it morals, values or the way I was raised. I just do not like asking for help. But now I truly need your help. I made some really bad decisions and poor life choices in the past and  I am severely behind on property taxes and am about to lose the home my Father left me when he died in 2010. 

 For years I was addicted to drugs and lost everything over and over due to drugs and my dedicated use of them. I am not  proud of what I have done. In fact, I am quite ashamed of myself and how I just let things spiral out of control. I have no one to blame but myself. But, I do not believe that all hope is lost. Everyone deserves a second chance. Sometimes 3 or 4. I have decided that drugs seriously are not for me and have set my life to be a better person.  I have been clean and sober now for about 3 months and after  being in an addicted state of emotional numbness, the fog is slowly clearing and everything I have done in the past seems to have come crashing in on me. Especially the real estate tax statement saying I owe $4800  AND that I am about to lose my home. My Father's home.

My Father died in 2010 and left me this house.  He had believed in me when no one else did.  And now I am asking that you believe in me too.  Even though I feel I have let him and a lot of people down, I can not in good conscience just sit back and lose the house he worked so hard to get. Although it would probably serve me right to do so.

•   Dedicate my life to being a steward for others. There are many families in the area who are living in extreme poverty such as myself. I have decided that (even if I do not get the funds to save my home) I will dedicate my life to being a steward to others.
•   Clean up the property and start a community garden or donate spaces for a FREE farmers market to build this community around locally grown foods.
• To get the supportive help I need through AA and NA to keep me sober.
• Set up food drive to serve my community twice a year.

AND if I lose my home I will donate the money to Coleman Christian Ministries to help others in the area.
