Paying tribute to Lechuga
Last week we lost a compassionate, sweet, blessed soul; one who I know leaves behind a hole in the hearts of his family, community, and beyond. Although his loss was sudden and senseless, Lechuga leaves behind a legacy of grace, generosity of spirit and a world that was all the better for having him in it. I had the great honor of teaching Lechuga for a short time, and I am so grateful to have gotten to watch him grow up to be a strong, confident, creative young man. I am humbly asking for your donations in support of his family, to help ease their financial burdens in a time of such grief and loss. In addition, I know his family is not the only one who has lost loved ones due to illness, and circumstances beyond control. With that in mind I would like to dedicate any additional funds received to be used to honor his memory and aid those in need of support.
