Peace Lady Memorial
We are people in Englewood, FL that want to honor the lifelong work of Jean Ranallo, The Peace Lady. She is best known for her peace ‘vigil' on the corner of Indiana (776) & Dearborn, most Sundays for the past 20+ years. Jean passed away at 79 on January 11, 2023. We continue every Sunday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm to continue her quest for Peace, all are welcome to join us, we have signs.
We are soliciting donations in any amount to put up an International Peace Pole dedicated to her at the southwest corner of 776 & Dearborn. Approximately $1000.00 is needed; the the pole, a dedication placque and installation costs. Any funds contributed exceeding the costs to erect this monument to Peace in Englewood will be donated in Jean's name to World Central Kitchen for its support of the people of Ukraine.
