I've been invited to serve at the Baptist Theological Seminary of Trujillo, in Trujillo, Peru, from August 6-13, 2025, where I will be teaching and encouraging local pastors and ministry leaders who are faithfully shepherding churches across northern Peru.

This opportunity is part of a growing partnership between West Virginia Southern Baptists and churches in Peru. Outside of the United States it is estimated that only about 5% of evangelical pastors have formal theological training.

The Apostle Paul wrote, in Ephesians 4:12, we are called "to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ." This trip seeks to follow Paul's model of training ministry leaders, who can in turn, make disciples, who make other disciples of Christ.

My role will be to come alongside Peruvian pastors and church leaders to help equip and encourage them for the gospel work He has called them to. On this trip I will have the opportunity to teach at the seminary, preach messages in local Peruvian Baptist churches, as well as share my personal testimony.

Would you consider partnering with me in two ways?

1. Pray –That God would prepare the hearts of those I'll be teaching, and that I would teach with clarity, humility, and a deep sense of love for Christ and His Word.
2. Give – The total cost of the trip is $2,500.00. I am trusting the Lord to provide through the generosity of individuals who share a heart for the nations.
