My baby girl Phoebe desperately needs to see the kitty dentist, but I just can’t afford it right now. She has really bad dental disease and has a hard time chewing. Even though she eats enough for now, it's not without difficulty and she paws at her mouth after eating like it hurts. She flinches if the sides of her mouth accidentally touch our hands when she rubs her face on them. The vet indicated during a recent exam that they will probably need to pull some, too. She'll also need updated bloodwork before we can get them cleaned to make sure she gets the safest medications for the procedure. She needed a cardiac ultrasound in June and the results were mostly good... but they were somewhat concerned about how her left valve was refilling. They might need to re-do the ultrasound before her dental. 

She's a happy little kitty, for the most part... but she hides a lot and isn't very interested in her toys anymore. I know that finally getting her teeth taken care of will make her feel a lot better. It would also hopefully make it easier for me to feed her and give her treats – I have to be really careful about what I give her since she has such a hard time chewing. Untreated dental disease can lead to really serious problems later on – which I’m also really worried about.

The thought of her being uncomfortable and in pain deeply saddens me. It would mean so much to me to finally be able to do this for her. Please help me give the Christmas present of a healthier smile to a sweet little kitty who deserves the world. <3
