Everett and his parents are finally home from a week long stay at Duke.
Everett had many tests to determine what's going on with his brain and get a better idea on how to treat his epilepsy. During his stay, it was determined that he is having infantile spasms. The treatment for these seizures suppresses his immune system and also makes him cranky. Since his immune system will be suppressed for at least three months, he and his mama will be home bound.
I'm hoping to raise $500 to help Everett and his parents with meals, gift cards to restaurants and yummy snacks, to make the quarantine a bit more bearable. They have another GoFundMe to help with medical costs. This fundraiser is completely separate.
This young family is facing mounting medical bills, additional testing as well as keeping the day to day household chores and expenses current.
