Hello my dear friends, my name is Jeri Presley and I first want to say thank you for being here right now and taking the time to listen to our story, your amazing 🌹❤️I take care of my precious 81yr old mother for about 3 yrs now and very shortly after I moved into her house that she had moved into not to long before I came I became really concerned because her and I were getting sick alot and no matter how many times we were prescribed antibiotics and cold meds because our noses ran like waterfalls constantly, I mean it is out of control. Well we finally got to a point of such frustration that nothing was helping us to get better, we, to this day are just getting worse that we realized that maybe it had something to do with our surroundings so we informed our landlord and asked if he would be willing to have the house inspected for anything that might have been causing us to get and stay sick 😷 and he reluctantly agreed well, sure enough what the problem was, was, BLACK MOLD EVERYWHERE 😖🤭 and the gentleman that did the inspection was so shocked at the magnitude of the mold that just out of mear curiosity asked us how long we had been living here and when we told him that we had already been there for 3 yrs he was amazed that we weren't even sicker than we were and went so far as to say that he was shocked that one or both of us wasn't layed up in a hospital or dead by this point and that made mother and I realize how terrible and serious our living situation was so ofcours we asked our landlord when he could get this taken care of and his response was SHOCKING 😳 because he informed us that he would be doing absolutely nothing to fix this issue and that it was mother's and my problem because when we moved in the house was under different ownership (because it's a rental house) and that the previous owners were responsible for this mess and that mother herself before moving in should have requested a clean sweep of inspection of the house and so making her out to be an irresponsible party as well, now keep in mind mother is in her 80's and on a fixed income of barely anything that this house was literally all she could afford and had ZERO other options because financially it was impossible for her to have been able to get into any of the other properties that were available at that time, they all way exceeded what she could afford, and as the saying has always been said, "you get what you pay for" and sadly it's true 😢. Well, that brings us to why I'm reaching out to you through this platform that I'm still trying to hold on to a portion of hope that at this point I should have already let go of because not only have mother and I been suffering for 3 yrs now but I have also not only have had this platform for this whole time, but I have several other free fundraiser accounts that we have still 3 yrs later which means 3 more yrs of added health deterioration, and I have done everything that I could think of to get our need heard by sharing and posting and sharing and posting and sharing and posting............... like a crazy person and to this day not one donation to go towards helping my mother and I get into a clean, safe home and not only is the black mold an issue and that is slowly but surely killing us but the area we live in is consumed night and day with drug addicts and prostitutes and dealing with roaches 😖😖😖 but it's all we can afford!!!!!!😭 Where we are isn't safe for two women to be, please 😥, please, we can't do it without you 🙏 I promise you that your generous gift will be changing lives drastically for the better and make it possible for prayers to be answered 😔 And may the blessing that you pour into this need come back to you and your family a thousand times greater than what you sowed in Jesus' name, Amen🙏🙏❤️❤️
