My name is Katy and I am running a crowdfunding campaign to help alleviate my student loans in efforts for me to be able to invest in my business, dreams, and future. I went to school at UCSD and UCLA, and hold a BA in Political Science. I am a very accomplished first generation college graduate. While I was in school my family was able to contribute $0 to my tuition, room&board, extracurriculars, etc. I was not discouraged by this. I worked diligently in my academics, but I also held several jobs to sustain myself and my education. Every college expense to this day has been handled by me. However while I was in college my father passed away, making this much more of a financial trouble on myself in trying to help my family with the costs. I have always worked hard to follow my dreams, however now the burden of repaying my student loans has been preventing me from investing in myself and my future. I respectfully ask for a donation that you are comfortable with to contribute to the cost of my education, so I can have the accessibility to purse my dreams, my future and the establishment of my business.
