Final update: This fundraiser was created originally to help Luna live a quality of life,which she did for an additional 20 days. Luna took a turn for the worst and was euthanized at home on 2/19/24. I have this fundraiser or, Pay pal and Zelle that friends can donate to with my phone # to help with end of life costs and I adjusted the amount here as there is no more vetting.

Any of Luna's bedding,toys,food,left over medicine and funds will be donated to rescues in her honor.

Luna has done years of service work,making miles of smiles at hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living facilities and she now is needing your help.

Update: FML!😭

Now the nice vet Dr.Cotto who we saw yesterday, a young lady of 35 year old, says that after looking at Luna's exrays of her knee that was not done on Jan 5th by the other Dt., says Luna has bone cancer and I should euthanize my doggie.

I'm devastated and without words.

Except the word NO! 

 I will not euthanize a doggie that is not suffering and ready to die.

In 26 days,from Luna's first vet visit with Dr. Miguel l,I got her weight down from 99 lbs to 91, still high but better. 

Her blood sugar is now normal, when they were calling her diabetic I ,changed her diet to salmon liver, sweet potatoes and Pumpkin plus joint supplements and fish oil.

She went from not wanting to get up on the bed to putting her front paws up and I lifted her back end.

She jumps off on her own, but only if I didn't catch her before.

The other day Luna was laying in her bed looking at the lake,she saw a dog near the apt and jumped up,started barking and ran to the door.

An amazing improvement

I went from wasting my time giving her lactolose, to doing home made enemas and got her cleaned out of a few pounds of feces and havent had to do the enemas for 2 weeks and now this.🥺

Luna had her chicken liver dinner last night, took a nice walk, pooped and is sleeping comfortable on her pain meds.

I'm not to sure about the pain meds as pain is there for a reason? she hasn't exhibited pain in the last 3 weeks and 600 mgs of gabapentin knocked her out from last night till now.
