I was diagnosed with ms in 2022 and I have not worked since 2023. It took 2 years for Social Security to approve me for SSDI. As you can imagine, it’s not much. This economy has hurt so bad, I had to move where it was more affordable and even now I’m barely making it. There’s so many road blocks I’ve encountered it’s not even funny. I do have some help, but I’m behind and getting a boost would help so much. It’s not fair that I got sick and was almost out of debt and I’ve kissed all that goodbye. I spend Christmas and birthday gift cards on medical supplies or food. I haven’t had a haircut in a year and a half.!I’ll be happy to share more, but I assure you it’s a stressful and depressing story. God bless.
