My cat Chubbs was hit by a car on Friday. I was able to get him to an emergency vet, with the worst of course being told to me. He did fracture the bone in the middle of his bottom jaw that connects the 2 pieces, and had so much head trauma that behind his blood and nasel passage was full of blood and swollen, his whole mouth was full of blood as well and everything swollen. The swelling has gone down some he still has a long way to go, however he can not see right now and may never regain eyesight in either eye. He had surgery on Saturday to try and fix the bone in the bottom jaw but we were informed today he needs another. We were also told that the vet believes he has neurological damage effecting his left leg because he is unable to sit up on it, he doesn't straighten it and just keeps it under him. I don't know how we are going to pay for future surgeries or rehabilitation. Any amount we are so grateful for, or even if you can just share and pray for our kitty.
