PLEASE HELP MY FRIEND!
My friend is a devoted single father who has been through unimaginable hardship while caring for his two daughters. After their mother abandoned them and committed serious offenses, he and his girls escaped the violent home environment she caused. Just as they were trying to rebuild, he suffered a devastating accident—falling from a roof and shattering his heel in seven places. The injury left him bedridden for six months, unable to work, and forced him into a precarious living situation. He later endured a botched ankle fusion surgery, which left him in constant pain and needing corrective surgery he cannot even begin to afford. Meanwhile, his psycho ex-girlfriend moved three states away, is selling the condo, and refuses to let them retrieve their belongings (filing properly in court as we speak). She also tracked them down with the help of his daughters phone records, had his truck repossessed, leaving him without transportation and unable to work and is worried about being able to get his daughters to school here soon. As a final blow, she had their phones shut off even though he was paying for them.
Now, he and his girls are facing being homeless, with their temporary AirB&B expiring and nowhere else to go. He’s already on emergency housing waiting lists, but the uncertainty is overwhelming. Funds raised will go directly toward a few months of rent to keep them safe, a rental car so he can start earning income again and being able to transport his daughters to school, as well as school clothes and supplies for the girls. Anything will help them beyond belief, providing relief and hope during this difficult time.
My friend has always been the kind of person who gives selflessly to others, never asking for anything in return. Now, he needs help himself. Any support for this fundraiser will make a huge difference for him and his daughters, easing their stress and helping them get back on their feet. Thank you for considering a gift to this cause!
