Hi. I've started this fundraiser to help my parents, Pam and Dave Hoy. They have been married for 44 years. They have been through a lot together. Dad broke his back and hasn't been able to work or drive a car in over 15 years. Mom has been trying to keep a roof over their head since that time. She's been working with the school district as a substitute teacher for almost 30 years. If you have children, chances are they've had Mrs. Hoy. She has given so much of her life to helping kids and being a sole care provider for my dad. 

Dad came down with pneumonia and has been placed in a medically induced a coma since Saturday, February 25th. He's on a ventilator and can not breathe on his own. They have had to install a chest tube at this time. Mom can't afford to take time off work to be by his side so her bills aren't getting paid. This hospital stay will also be costly ( in the $300,000 range) as the state just took away my dads Medicare. He is also not on disability. I am asking if the community could pull together and help my sweet parents at this time. Dad will be 63 years young on March 14th. Anything you can do is helpful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I know my dad will take comfort in knowing mom is getting help.
