I never thought I would find myself asking strangers for help, but right now, I’m doing everything I can to make life better for my family.

I’m part of a family of eight, and right now we are trying to make a very important move. We want to leave town and relocate somewhere where we have more family and people around us who can support us.

At the moment, we don’t have much of a support system where we are. Trying to take care of a family this size without that support has become incredibly difficult, especially with everything we have been going through.

I also recently lost my job after dealing with harassment in the workplace. Losing that income has put a tremendous amount of stress on our household. My fiancé and I are both trying to find a way to get back to work and become financially stable again, but it’s much harder trying to do everything on our own.

And right now, I’m pregnant.

As happy as I am about bringing another baby into our family, I would be lying if I said I wasn’t scared and overwhelmed. I want to be able to enjoy this pregnancy and prepare for our baby instead of constantly worrying about how we’re going to make everything work.

That’s why we’re asking for help relocating.

Having family and a support system nearby would give us the opportunity to get back on our feet, find work, have people we can turn to when we need help, and give our children a more stable environment. We aren’t looking for someone to take care of us forever. We’re simply trying to get to a place where we can stand on our own again.

The money raised will go toward moving expenses, transportation, housing deposits, temporary expenses, food, and other necessities that come with relocating a family of eight.

I’m trying to make things easier for my family. I’m trying to prepare for my baby. I’m trying to give my fiancé and myself a chance to work and provide. And honestly, I’m trying to get to a place where I don’t feel like I’m carrying the weight of everything by myself anymore.

We are keeping our names, exact location, and other personal details private because protecting our family’s privacy is important to us.
