Pownal Holiday Tree
Dear Pownal Neighbors,
There is a tree on Town property by the Pownal Center Church. Wouldn't it be nice to decorate the tree with lights, have a tree lighting ceremony on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, with maybe some songs, candy canes for the kids, a visit from Santa, and so much more. The tree could be lit every night through the Holidays. You would be able to see it from RT 7 as you come up the mountain. What an uplifting sight it would be!
Time is short, so I am asking anyone willing to help by donating to help us buy the lights for the tree.
