Help Us Prevent Foreclosure on Our Home

Hello, my name is Quaneisha, and I am reaching out for help during a very difficult time. My family and I are facing the risk of foreclosure on our home, and we are in desperate need of assistance to prevent this from happening. I am asking for donations towards our goal of $8,000 to catch up on our mortgage and avoid losing our home.

Earlier this year, while I was pregnant, we were involved in a car accident. As a result, I had to start my maternity leave six weeks earlier than planned, but unfortunately, my job didn’t offer paid maternity leave at the time. This sudden loss of income put a huge strain on our finances. In a bittersweet turn of events, my job announced right after I had my baby that they now offer paid maternity leave,but only up to six weeks, which didn’t cover the time I had already taken off.

To make matters worse, the car we were driving was severely damaged in the accident. It’s been in the repair shop for months, and although we haven’t been able to use it, we still have to make payments on the car note and insurance. When the car was initially returned to us, it wasn’t properly repaired, so we had to send it back. This has been an ongoing ordeal with no clear end in sight. Our insurance only covered the rental car for a month, so we’ve been paying out of pocket for the rental ever since, which has been more expensive than our regular car payments and insurance combined.

During this time, my fiancé was also injured in the accident. His injury has limited the amount of work he can do, causing a significant reduction in his income. Despite these challenges, we’ve done everything we can to keep up with our bills,paying utilities, groceries, and taking care of our three children,but it’s been impossible to keep up with our mortgage payments.

I have returned to work, and although I’m grateful for my income, it’s not enough to catch up on everything we’ve fallen behind on. We are now facing the terrifying possibility of losing our home, and we are humbly asking for your help to avoid foreclosure.

Any amount you can contribute will go directly toward catching up on our mortgage and keeping a roof over our family’s head. No donation is too small, and we are deeply appreciative of any support you can offer during this challenging time.
