Pride at Bristow
Welcome to our Pride at Bristow fundraiser! On June 7th, I will be running a one-mile trail loop for 24-hours alongside fellow queer, trans, and nonbinary folks celebrating Pride with us at the Bristow 24/12/6 hour trail race. We are gathering in community to foster pride, joy, and community support in this time when we need it most. My goal is to see how many miles I can run in one single day, and simultaneously how much we can fundraise for our community in need. In 2023, the first year of Pride at Bristow, we raised nearly $2,500 for Trans Lifeline, enough to fund the emergency hotline for more than 24 hours. This year, with so many constant attacks on transgender, nonbinary, and queer folks, I couldn't pick just one organization. Or even two! So in true nonbinary fashion, I've selected three Oregon nonprofit organizations to be the beneficiaries of Pride at Bristow, and we will split the funds evenly between them. Please join me in supporting Black and Beyond the Binary Collective based out of Portland, Transponder Oregon based out of Eugene, and Basic Rights Oregon serving our community at the State level. I will be sharing additional information about each organization, so be sure to follow along on social media @nickgpham & @prideatbristow on IG. And tune into IG stories June 7-8 to see how many miles we can reach in one day. Your donations will power my steps, helping me reach my goals, and helping our community thrive into the future. No amount is too small. Thank you SO much.
