Production Costs Campaign

This campaign is funding the first two short films produced by my production company (co-owned/founded/operated by Sarah Martin) Inpatient Productions. Inpatient Productions is what produced the web series "Code Green" in 2019/2020.

The first short, "a difficult conversation." is a dark family drama about a man coming out to his racist but mentally ill father.

The second short "Happy Birthday" is also a dark drama about a young mother trying to balance her personal life and her own demons on her daughter's birthday.

"a difficult conversation." is fully cast and is shooting the first week of January 2022,

"Happy Birthday" is going into pre production this week, scouting locations, casting, story boarding etc.

We've upped production value since "Code Green" buying equipment, paying cast & crew etc. and are in dire need of assistance. These productions will take place regardless, "The Show Must Go On!" but it was suggested we don't go broke in the process.

We feel these projects will resonate heavily with the audience it reaches and will be an excellent cathartic experience for those with emotionally strained or even traumatic family relationships, which is a large portion of people.

Both shorts will be available for free streaming on every site possible and we intend to enter the films into every festival that will accept them. Given the amount of exposure the projects will get we feel whether you want to show the world you're a patron of the arts (all donators names will be credited) or a branding for your business (logo placement and branding opportunities available as well).

We truly believe in our hearts that these projects will touch people in a way that could potentially show that they are not alone in their own unfavorable relationship dynamics or their generally negative life experiences. Let's create some art the world can really feel!
