Public Health w/no Wealth

Hello lovely friends of Alexis (David) Lopez!!

Y'all, this brilliant bad-ass babe has been accepted into UW's MASTERS of PUBLIC HEALTH Program! We are so incredibly proud of this smarty pants and cannot wait to witness the glorious achievements that are still to come!

(Alexis wouldn't tell you this), but did you know that in his time, he has helped HUNDREDS of homeless kids, adults, and everyone in-between get into homes, get into colleges, get into therapy, into warm soapy baths, get into happier, healthier lives? He has helped bring broken families back together, after they've been torn apart by oppression, trauma and just plain bad luck. Essentially he has stored up enough good karma that he could go commit some mercenary-type crimes against humanity and still get into the sustainably-sourced seafood buffet in heaven!! Well, we've watched him as he has struggled, hand-in-hand, journeying alongside our most vulnerable members of our community, fighting with them, emerging with them, celebrating with them.

And now, he needs that paper to get to the next step. That's where WE ALL come in.

Friends, Folx, Fam... Without our financial love, these dreams might just dwindle. Seriously.

More than any other time in his life, Alexis needs our support to stay afloat in expensive-ass, amazoned, gentrified, facebooked Seattle, so he can focus his energy on his full-time studies.

As we all know, it is soooo CRITICAL to have our BIPOC, Queer, differently-abled, neurodivergent, (intersectional as fuck) voices, hearts, histories and bodies leading this field.

And we all know this wealth shit aint ever been equitable.  So let's redistribute some wealth towards the health of the public and $how $ome $a$$y love for Alexis.

All donations will go towards helping him keep his apartment in Seattle, get his foods (essentials only, no cake till this is all over), and his meds (also only stuff that helps him stay alive).
