I have never asked for much in life, but I feel the need at this time for my son Dennis. My sons dog, Sammy (in photo) sadly succumbed to a splenic tumor on August 12, 2020. Sammy was raised by my son Dennis and Meaghan since she was 7 weeks old. Our poor girl passed away at 10 yrs old. Sammy was never trained to detect seizures, but her instincts to alert us began when she was a few months old. Now that she is no longer with us, we are looking to adopt a puppy that we can train to alert us when Dennis has seizures. Other than that, we won't know when he's seizing, because his bedroom is upstairs and seizures aren't loud. Unfortunately, I can't afford an adoption being that I'm on disability. I do have help with vet visits along with care raising the puppy. Besides seizures, my son has a multitude of medical problems including depression. If anybody can find it in their hearts to donate whatever you can, it would be much appreciated and we would be forever grateful. My heart not only breaks for the lose of our sweet fur baby, but also for my son. He's lonely as it is. Even more so now. Thank you in advance for any donation, big or small. ❤
