Support A Child’s Haven Development Center in Establishing a Permanent Location**

Hello everyone,

My name is Rachel McCarty, and I am the founder and director of A Child’s Haven Development Center (ACH). I was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, where I attended a local school and later earned my higher education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

The dream that is now becoming ACH began during my college years, through an early intervention project in my education studies. It was a vision that lived not only in my mind, but deeply in my heart.

Since 2022, I have dedicated my full time and energy to:

– Building ACH from the ground up

– Expanding my knowledge and skills in early childhood education

– Searching for the perfect location where this dream could truly come to life

After three years of hard work and determination, we have finally found the ideal home for A Child’s Haven Development Center.

With the support of my community, this is not only the fulfillment of my dream but an opportunity to create lasting, positive change in the lives of children and families here in Knoxville.

Our Mission

At ACH – A Child’s Haven Development Center, our mission is to:

– Provide high-quality, nurturing care and educational support to all children from birth to age five

– Ensure equal access for families regardless of financial circumstances

– Strengthen children’s social, emotional, and cognitive foundations

– Offer parents valuable resources, guidance, and support

– Create a safe, inclusive, community-centered environment where both children and families can grow and thrive

To accomplish this mission, we are raising funds for the down payment needed to purchase a permanent campus for ACH.

This center will offer:

– Quality early childhood education programs

– Comprehensive family support services

– A safe and welcoming community space
