Rally for Ken Crisp: Help Ken Fight Lung Mass & Medical Costs
#CrispStrong | #RallyForKen | #KensFightIsOurFight
Hi everyone,
We are setting up this fund to support my dad, Ken Crisp, as he faces a tough medical fight and an overwhelming financial strain.
Back in May, Ken went to the emergency room where doctors discovered a small lesion on his lung. What followed was a frustrating, exhausting several months of trying to get the care he needs. To make matters worse, Ken lost his job at the end of May due to company layoffs. Losing his job also meant losing his health insurance, creating immense hurdles in accessing follow-up testing, specialist care, and medical assistance programs.
Despite our best efforts to fight for disability support and financial assistance programs, the red tape has left us hitting wall after wall while his health remains on hold.
On Wednesday night, the pain from the mass grew severe enough that we had to take Ken back to the emergency room, where he has been admitted ever since. Watching him deal with intense pain while enduring days of delays for crucial testing has been heart-wrenching for our family.
Without health insurance, we know the astronomical hospital bills, diagnostic tests, and upcoming treatment costs will be overwhelming. Ken should be able to focus 100% of his energy on fighting his diagnosis and getting healthy—not worrying about how to afford the care keeping him alive.
How You Can Help
1. Donate: Any amount, no matter how small, goes directly toward Ken's hospital bills, diagnostic testing, and immediate medical expenses.
2. Share: If you are unable to donate right now, sharing this campaign on Facebook, Instagram, or via text using the hashtags #CrispStrong and #RallyForKen helps get his story in front of as many caring people as possible.
3. Keep Him in Your Thoughts: Your kind messages, prayers, and encouraging words mean the world to Ken and our family right now.
Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for standing by Ken during this incredibly long and challenging week. We will keep everyone updated as we learn more from his care team.
