Rallying for Kennis
Kennis has always shown up for others without hesitation. It's our turn to show up for her.
Since early February, Kennis has faced a series of serious health complications. She has remained under medical care and is now preparing for the long road ahead: one that will include extensive rehab and occupational therapy as she works to rebuild strength and independence.
Progress will not be quick or easy, but Kennis is a fighter. Anyone who knows her knows that her determination runs deeps. She is fighting with everything she has.
Kennis’s community is coming together to support her in the ways she needs most right now. This fundraiser will help ease the financial burden of her ongoing medical care, rehabilitation, and the many unknowns that come with a recovery like this.
If you're able to give, share, or simply keep Kennis in your thoughts, it makes all a difference.
Let's rally around her, just as she would for any of us.
Team Kennis: Broad Street Run 2026
On Sunday, May 3rd, Team Kennis will hit the Philly pavement in honor of our spunky girl. Joining the team is intentionally informal. Whether you're running, cheering from the sidelines, or supporting from afar, you're a part of it. For those who would like to rep, "Team Kennis" shirts are available at-cost via the ordering link below. The deadline for new orders is April 13th.
We encourage everyone to share this fundraising page with their network to help support Kennis's ongoing medical care.
We know that Kennis would be out there with us this May, showing up big and bringing the energy.
The team shirt features the Lorax - a tribute to Kennis, who fully committed to the bit and dressed as him during Philly Marathon weekend just a few months ago. It's a small but very her way for us to carry her spirit with us.
