For the month of Ramadan, Ilm-O-Hunar School is raising funds to provide food aid for teachers and children, as well their families. Located in the Lyari neighborhood of Karachi, Pakistan, this school services one of the most impoverished communities in the city at no cost to students. Along with Muslims around the world, children who attend will be observing the holy month of Ramadan by fasting from dawn to dusk. The evening meal of Iftar - the main and often only meal for low-income families - is essential to their sustenance. The school would like to extend holistic care during this month by providing this daily free meal. As a charitable organization, we are entirely dependent on donations.
