Thank you for your consideration! Our Mission is to help families with special needs get the most out of life through Creative Respite and Retreats.

We are a family of 7 with our youngest children - identical twin boys - diagnosed with Level 3 ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). They are now 6 years old and we experience unique challenges, especially when it comes to relaxing, self-care, and spending time as a family.

Our "vacations" are not always the most relaxing - we find ourselves concerned with the possibility that our destination may not be accommodating for those with special needs. Will people be understanding? Will they help us with any issues in regards to restrictions and safety?

We know that we have to expose our children to different experiences so that they can keep developing their understanding of the world - but would love to do it with the minimum amount of stress possible.

It is our dream to advocate for families in our same situation, to educate facilities and destinations on ways they can help, and be a voice for our children who do not have the ability to communicate for themselves.

Please note that as an individual, I will be raising funds to get our mission established through this online portal on FreeFunder.

• The goal is to create funding for the initial phase of this project: Creating a NEW Legal Entity called "Ready the Way Foundation", Paying for the Preparation of Legal Documents (Approx. $10K), Training and Education, Establishing Online Presence and Tools, and Creating Distributable Marketing Materials.

• Our first milestone is to raise $30,000. This will help cover the establishment costs and have some funds to start seeding programs that will move the mission forward.
