Help Me Get Back on My Feet

To my friends, family, and anyone willing to help,

The last chapter of my life has been one of the hardest I’ve ever experienced. I recently went through a divorce, lost my home, and lost my job. In a short period of time, much of the stability I had built disappeared, and I found myself having to start over from the ground up.

I made the decision to move to Texas and stay with my sister while I work on rebuilding my life. I’m grateful to say that I have been blessed with a new job, and I start this Monday. That opportunity means more to me than I can explain because it gives me a chance to get back on my feet and begin moving forward again.

Right now, though, I’m in the difficult space between starting over and receiving my first paycheck. I’m raising money to help with transportation, gas, food, clothing and necessities for work, and other basic expenses that will allow me to make it through these first few weeks and successfully begin my new job.

I’m not asking anyone to carry me. I’m asking for a little help getting back on my feet so I can carry myself again.

Those who know me personally know that asking for help isn’t easy for me. But I also understand that sometimes life puts us in situations where we have to put our pride aside and allow the people who care about us to lend a hand.

This isn't about giving up—it's about starting over. I have a job waiting for me Monday, a new opportunity in front of me, and I’m determined to rebuild one step at a time.
