Hi friends & folks, I am writing this fundraiser to help a dear friend of mine. I know there is a lot happening in the world so please share and donate if you can. Anything helps!

My dear friend Ren is a disabled trans Mexican person who recently fled a domestic violence situation. Unfortunately they had to leave almost everything behind and are trying to rebuild. They just recently got a job and have a couch to crash on with their cat, but they are hoping to move into their own place to continue to stabilize their health and finances, and begin the work of healing from this abusive relationship.

What we are currently asking for is financial support to get their deposit for move in covered, rebuild their pantry, and have toiletries etc. so they can stay fresh and clean for work and their sanity.

The items with the cost are listed below.

We are exploring other programs but as many of you likely know food stamps and other programs have been hit pretty hard and a lot of people no longer qualify.

So we are hoping to raise funds through community to keep things moving.

Move in roughly: $988 plus fees so maybe about $1000

Moving truck: $100

Pantry:$100

Cleaning supplies: $60

Toiletries: $80

Basic furniture such as bed: $600

Senior cat supples: $80

Any extra funds will go towards bills, rent and food and once the place is secure with food we will provide updates to the fundraiser for transparency

We will also shut it down once the goal is met.
