On Dec.11,2025 I was in hospital due to extremely high blood sugar, I was awoken by the nurse telling me I had a phone call.

It was my neighbor,in Gorin,Mo.

telling me my house was on fire.

Needless to say I was an emotional wreck.

They released me a few hours later,I got to Gorin that afternoon,

The fire took everything away .

That evening a friend told us we could move in with him. So we did.

On the 13th we had to have our Pet of 15 yrs put to sleep,she had burns all on her side,

The firemen had to keep throwing her out of the house,she kept going back in the house,

Lisa was my baby and she did not know where I was,so she kept looking

She was a great pet,friend,companion,I could of ever asked for.

We faked our way through Christmas,

On December 26,our son went to the E.R.,he was taken by Ambo to Quincey hospital

because he was sick,boy was he ever sick,he had a heart attack in progress in the ER..

He spent the next several weeks in the hospital,he was put in a medicall coma for 10 days

He was put on dialysis,His heart is in very bad shape and he just turned 38 on July the fourth.

He has a long road to recovery.He is coming along nicely.

My husband Dean has to have dialysis 3 days a week due to stage 5 kidney failure.

Myself I have had 13 strokes,3 heart attacks and I am legally blind.

Back to the house fire,my husband was home,he called 911 not knowing that calling

911 in Scotland co,it would call Clark Co.

25 minutes after the first call,he callback and ask why it was taking so long to get there, In Gorin we lived across the tracks from the Gorin,fire department.

While battling the fire,one of the firemen opened the new freezer we had gotten to put the cow we had butcherd and processed,a cow and had it in the freezer,

It should of been fine left in freezer,but no the door was left open so all that meat was ruined.

When I look back and watch the news report that had wrong in formation in the report,saying we were getting help from the Mayor of Gorin and a church in town,and that was not true at all.

And with that info in the report,we got no help from anyone.

To this day we only received clothing donations and a little bit of help from the Red Cross,but that money went to the Vet for our Dogs bill.

Now it is the end of September,and we are still homeless, We need a home hopefully before winter hits.

We are staying in a camper which is nice but we are drowning in debt because we live on Social Security.

I am hoping there are some people out there that are will want to help us.
