A friend on Facebook suggested I try a Personal Fundraiser.

As many of you know the house I purchased in Louisiana on September 18, 2025 burned the roof out on Thanksgiving. Then a week later I wrecked my SUV. I had insurance on the SUV but was unable to afford the $18,000 a year insurance on the house. I had put all the money I had into the house in order to not have rent or a house payment since I have been unable to work since June of 2023. I have been struggling to find some type of employment or get approved for disability, with no luck. Before I moved out of Texas I had sold off most everything I had to keep a roof over Wolfgang and my head, so he could finish Highschool.

I'm currently living in a small RV on my property with my two Mastiffs and the German Shepherd I took in when my neighbor passed away. I can't afford to get a temporary power pole out in yet and so I'm spending a bunch of money on gas for my generator. To keep my fridge running and heat.

The main damage to the house is the roof, the decking, ceiling, insulation and ceiling light wiring. There is some water damage but it has a metal roof, so rain is not really getting in. I have done a lot of shoveling it out, but I need a contractor to put her back together.

As most of you also know I have a hard time asking for help, but I'm at the end of my rope. Any donations of even a couple of bucks will be appreciated. I would also be very interested if someone were able to give me or help me get a second on the house to repair it. When my disability comes through they will have about a year in back pay due to me and then I should have enough to pay back a loan, but my credit is shot because of not being able to work the last 2½ years.
