Hello everyone,

My name is Shaundelle, and I've started this fundraiser because my life has changed in a big way. After my sister and her kids moved out, I'm now living alone in our one-bedroom apartment and carrying the full financial responsibility on my own.

 I work as a teacher assistant during the school day, support an after-school program in the afternoons, and I'm a part-time student at CUNY. 

Even with all of that, the sudden shift has made it hard to keep up with rent, utilities, and replacing the furniture we shared including bed, a living room set, and a dining set. 

This fundraiser is important because it gives me a chance to stay stable, rebuild my home, and continue showing up for my students and my education.
