In 2019, I lost everything to addiction: my home, my marriage, and, most heartbreakingly, custody of my then-seven-year-old daughter. That was my wake-up call. I entered recovery and have been fighting to get my life back ever since. For the last seven years, I have been dedicated to my sobriety and to rebuilding my life from the ground up.

My daughter is my "why"—the reason I have fought so hard. While I have been blessed to be in recovery for seven years, the consequences of my past still follow me. In my small hometown, finding a job or a home has been a constant struggle due to the stigma of my past. My daughter needs stability to feel safe and secure, and I need a fresh start to provide it for her.

This is why I am asking for your help. My goal is to raise funds to move to a new town and buy a small home. This home would be more than just a place to live; it would be the foundation for a new life—one free from judgment, where I can finally find meaningful work and build the stable home my daughter deserves. This is the last step on my long road to recovery, and the first step toward becoming the mother and woman I am meant to be.
