If you know me, you know that asking for help is not something I do easily. I’ve always been the person who tries to figure things out on my own, keeps going when things get difficult, and finds a way to make it work. But right now, I’m at a point where I need to be honest and admit that I can’t carry everything by myself.

The past several months have brought more than I ever expected to have to navigate. I’ve been dealing with circumstances that have affected my stability, my sense of safety, my finances, and my ability to simply live life normally. There have been expenses and setbacks that I wasn’t prepared for, while still trying to keep working, take care of my responsibilities, and keep moving forward.

I’m creating this fundraiser because I need a little breathing room. The money raised will help me cover immediate living expenses and the unexpected costs that have accumulated while I work toward getting myself back onto solid ground. It will give me the ability to focus on rebuilding instead of constantly worrying about which necessity has to wait until the next paycheck.

I know everyone has their own struggles and responsibilities, and I don’t take anyone’s help for granted. If you’re able to donate, even a small amount, it truly means more to me than I can put into words. If you aren’t able to contribute financially, sharing this fundraiser is just as meaningful.

I’m not asking for anyone to fix my life for me. I’m asking for a little support while I put the pieces back together.

I’ve made it through difficult chapters before, and I believe I’ll make it through this one too. I just need a little help getting from where I am now to where I’m trying to go.
