My daughter, Fox, has escaped incredible physical, emotional, financial, and psychological abuse from her husband. She is safe now here in Alabama, but without any recourse to fight for herself, feed herself, or get back on her feet. All she has left is her sweet, elderly dog, Papi, who also needs serious vet care. She no longer knows how to drive, because he did not allow her to drive a vehicle over the course of their marriage under any circumstance. Her husband forced her to quit her job, close her bank account, and completely isolated her from her family and friends for years. It is a miracle that she made it back here to safety, but we are now faced with the insurmountable work of putting her life back together. (After her escape, he closed off any recourse to retrieve any monies owed to her, including her half of the marital tax refund. He is currently in the Bahamas with his affair partner and has refused any and all requests for that access.)

*Of course, there are important things that we cannot share here, but please do reach out privately if there are any questions--both Fox and her family are willing to be fully transparent about the abuse, what the next steps are to be, and what the dire needs are at this time.*

Fox has been clinically diagnosed with CPTSD due to monstrous abuse (begging for her life while a firearm was held to her head, being held captive in a camper for weeks without a way to escape) and is continually fighting an autoimmune disease that she contracted in South Africa. She is also trying to heal from an incomplete miscarriage directly attributed to this nightmare and needs emergency medical care for these complications before they get worse.

Some of her immediate needs are:

Uber rides to doctors and clinics

Feminine products (due to the incomplete miscarriage)

Food (for both her and Papi)

We desperately need help for doctor and therapy bills, a (used) vehicle so that she can go back to work (when her body has healed), medicine, etc. as she struggles to stand up again. Any help, at all, is appreciated for this beautiful soul. Also, if you would like to just donate for her precious Papi (her emotional support dog), every dollar sent will go directly to food and vet support.
