Red String Project

Scientology Forbidden Truth: The Red String Project

Art installation unravelling Scientology's controversial history, occult roots & the cognitive dissonance of being born into a cult.

I have spent the last year and half working on this project. The concept, design and complete first draft is complete! Collecting cork boards, vintage documents and seeing it all come to life has been a dream come true.

BUT I want to take this art installation to the next level! In order to present this project to the world, I need to upgrade my materials to something more lightweight, easy to travel/pack, secure and glare free.

To accomplish this, I will be creating 12 4'x4' boards. Each will have a sturdy plastic backing, a removable wood frame and acrylic, glare-free sheeting on the top. Each frame will have LED lighting and it's own magnet system to attach the red string from the outside as part of an interactive aspect.

Once I have these materials, I will have a professional art installation I can show, travel with and exhibit across the United States, which is my real dream.

Please consider helping me get there. XO Liz.
