REFUSING TO QUIT
My name is Ren, and I'll be direct with you.
I have been discriminated against. In job interviews. In workplaces. In a local job market that has made it quietly, consistently clear that someone like me — living with disabilities, fighting for every inch — is not welcome at the table.
So I'm building my own table.
I am launching a full-service cleaning and detailing company. We're talking janitorial and custodial services, carpet cleaning, floor stripping and waxing, pressure washing, and a mobile on-call car detailing and upholstery shampooing service — where customers call me, and I bring everything to them, wherever they are. Their home. Their job. Their driveway. Maximum convenience. Premium results.
I am not asking anyone to hand me a living. I am asking for the tools to earn one.
I will be receiving disability benefits — and I want to be honest about that. But I am not built to sit still and collect checks. I am a hard worker. Always have been. Disability does not change that. What it changed is the kind of work I can do and how I do it. So I'm building something I can run on my own terms, with my own hands, and grow into something that eventually employs others who've been pushed out too.
Here is exactly what this money does:
Equipment — commercial-grade vacuums, carpet extractor, floor buffer/stripper, pressure washer, detailing supplies, and a full mobile kit (~$6,000–$8,000)
Licensing and insurance — business registration, liability insurance, bonding (~$1,500–$2,500)
Reliable work vehicle or vehicle prep (~$3,000–$4,000)
Initial advertising — professional logo, flyers, basic website, local ads (~$500–$1,000)
This isn't a dream. This is a plan. And your donation is an investment in someone who will work for every single penny of it.
If you've ever been overlooked, underestimated, or pushed out — you already know why this matters.
Please share this even if you can't give. One share could be the one that changes everything.
Thank you. — Ren
