Repair For Registration

- As you know, my vehicle had a piece ripped from it and it caused damage plus damage around the the piece that had been ripped from my vehicle (catalytic converter). Now this is a 2005 Honda CRV, so the manufacturer doesn't make the car part anymore. The car part ranges from $200 to price ranges in the thousands. Repair quotes that I received start at $3000 and up. I purchased a universal catalytic converter that fits my model make and year yet the auto repair shops turned me away because they only use parts that they purchase. This is important since the catalytic converter effects gas mileage not to mention the way the part was ripped away caused a oil leak and transmission fluid leak and missing 02 sensors. So now I'm getting less miles per gallon with fluids trinkling and leaking out, repair quotes are $3000+ and that's before tax. My days of employment are less and less since my vehicle is missing car parts and I incur citations for it, thus putting me in a further disadvantage financially than if I hadn't went in to work period. The importance of this situation is that since the car is missing parts, repair prices are through the roof , consequently, I can't register my vehicle. This has been happening since, approximately 2022 until now. I've been putting in effort time sweat and elbow grease into getting my vehicle up to par so I can register my vehicle. Efforts beyond efforts for sure !! Numerous extensions with DMV, numerous repair quotes, and incurring infraction after infraction , citation after citation for not having my vehicle registered, even though someone ripped the piece from my vehicle and caused area damage. Authorities hear me out and yet issue a citation , $180 - $250 citation(s), then tell me to go get it fixed and it wouldn't happen. This is true and the citations could seem little but keep in mind I make $14.50 per hr as a housekeeper in a senior home/recovery suites for patients and residents at Medical Suites. Those pay rates cause for a longer build up for the simplest of purchases, let alone, an unexpected $3000+ expense that continually causes me to loose the footing towards saving up for (the previously mentioned car repairs). Its potentially costly to clock into work/travel to work, travel from work as much as it is for me to visit Walmart for groceries etc. Travelling to and from work, home, grocery stores without paying hundreds of dollars in citations is necessary especially now in the modern world. Transportation is necessary and self transportation are a must have now in our land scape of life. My vehicle , my transportation is essential just as much as yours is, pay $180+ for going to Walmart is utterly repulsive and is worthy of sharing with purpose of generating a remedy for sure for sure. Enough is enough. I like to earn my keep and practice self-dependency as much as self-reliance. This is why this fundraiser is going up. Thanks for listening to me and letting me vent. Really appreciate you , your kindness, and contribution towards this cause. Thank you again and Good Day.

- The photos attached are photos of the part that had been taken and the area the part belongs.

the price ranges for the catalytic converter vary as stated earlier in post, keep in mind car repair shops inflate and over price for car parts we can bring or purchase prior . Car Repair shops turned me away and offered to repair vehicle only if they purchase the part and quoted me in the $3,000 range before tax and hidden fees.
