My name is Nix Song. It's been a really rough couple of months. I just narrowly escaped homelessness with my partner and only a couple of days after we moved into our new home, our only car was stolen. The car was recovered *but* has damage to the ignition and will need repairing. It is currently at my mechanics where we are waiting for the backordered parts to arrive.

My partner is starting a Federal job next month, once his background check and fingerprinting is completed, but he needs the car to get to and from work. We are currently borrowing a friend's car and using DoorDash to try and get rent together for this month, and don't have a single dollar to spare towards the car repairs. Any help is *greatly* appreciated! We will also need to get the car detailed as the inside of the car was absolutely trashed. It smells disgusting, there is trash and needles in there, and nail polish spilled all over.

Breakdown of costs:

Estimated repair cost will be $1,000-1,100

Cleaning: $200-300

We are also trying to fundraise an extra $500 to cover half of our rent. Despite our best efforts, we will not be able to make enough for rent just DoorDashing. My partner will be starting his new job next month so we should be good after this month, we just need a little extra help.

Anything extra will go towards things like a steering wheel lock and a tracker for the car to prevent potential theft in the future.
