Hello! My name is Kat and I am the mother of a beautiful 5 year old girl that just started pre-school.  I had just picked up my third pay check from my new job and headed to cash it at Wal-Mart and pay some bills. It was dark and rainy when I  pulled onto the busy road when I saw the light ahead turn red. I went for the brake and my foot slipped right  off the pedal leaving  only enough time for me to SLAM on my breakes before I slid into the SUV in front of me. My car was totalled and luckily no one was hurt. 

I have had an unbelievable  hard few years. We were forced to move due to the unssfe living conditions of our apartment,  I miscarried my second pregnancy,  had surgery causing me to miss work, exhausted my savings,  and finally when I thought I caught a break and was offered an amazing high paying position last year, I was laid off suddenly several months ago. With my new unemployment status I of course had to rebudget our lives which resulted in  minimize my insurance payment.  Leaving me with no coverage to replace my vehicle. 

I ask anyone who is reading this to find it in their heart to donate for a replacement car for my small family.  I have worked so hard to provide for my daughter and with all we have been through in the past few years I just can't believe it has come to this. 

I have no problem taking public transportation,  unfortunately the commute to my daughter's school then to my new work and back would exceed the maximun  hours of care for her school.  

If I can't raise enough money to replace my car I fear for the worse for my new job.
