Responders without Border
I have recently been offered the opportunity to join a great group of people to assist in leading a training program for the country of Nicaragua and the firefighters so that they learn to do this job safely and efficiently. The initial visits and trainings start in November of this year but are a little expensive.
I am hoping my awesome family, friends and community will help fund my trip to this country where training and standards are much needed in the pursuit of increasing skill level and safety of our brothers and sisters abroad. I and possibly one other firefighter will be joining several law enforcement officers who will be applying the same concepts for the police force of the country.
Here is a little about me in regards to the skill sets I will be bringing with me to this area...
I am a Firefighter certified to NFPA Fire 1 & 2, Apparatus Operator, Apparatus Operator with a Pump, Rescue Boat Operator, Officer 1 & 2, Fire Instructor 2, CPR/BLS Instructor, Wildland Fire Fighter, Emergency Medical Responder, NFPA and FEMA Certified Public Information Officer, Emergency Vehicle Technician(EVT) Level 3, construction from the foundation to the ridgeline, computer technician with knowledge of network management and cyber security, PBX systems.
