We are mourning the sudden loss of Michael D. As our family grieves we face the unexpected cost of funeral services to honor Michael who was only 32 years old.
Michael "Mikel" also known as Simone Sagovia as the 2008 Mizz. Queen of Albuquerque Pride lived as his whole-self in this world! Michael truly walked his own path and deeply believed in fighting for the rights of Queer Community. Michael cared profoundly for his mother Tina, and the two were inseparable as Michael is Tina's only child. It is very important for Tina to be able to properly honor the life of Michael!
