I lost my job in early December of '23 and then my apartment shortly after. I stayed at an extend a stay for almost 2 months, without finding a new job, I had to move in with my son's father and his wife. I am extremely grateful for their help but they just cant afford to house me anymore and after nearly a year of job hunting, with over 75 interviews under my belt, I've hit a roadblock. Despite having experience and skills, doors keep shutting. This isn't about feeling sorry for myself; it's about recognizing when it's time for a change.

My partner has been unexpectedly relocated to Australia for work. This sudden shift means I'm losing my future home, I was moving in with him in a few weeks and just as stability felt within reach 'Poof' now I have to figure out way to get to australia.
