Reunite The Sandovals
Mike Sandoval, Jr. was born in Merced California in January 1974. When he was 5 years old, he and his mother moved to Arkansas and he didn't see his father again until he was 17 years old. They had a falling out when he made it back to Merced, and Mike Jr. moved back to Arkansas in 1993. After losing his mother in 2012, his father had been weighing heavy on his mind. He wanted nothing more than to have a relationship with his dad, but he didn't know how to go about making things right between the two of them. In 2020, Mike, Jr. and Mike, Sr. began to talk briefly, but nothing more than a Facebook comment here and there. Over the past two years, their relationship has bloomed and in January 2022 they finally had the talk the two of them both desperately needed. They spoke of the past and both Sandoval men decided to put it all behind them and focus on the future. The future, however, is never promised. Mike, Sr. is in his 70's and is beginning to become frailer by the day. Mike Jr. is also having health issues, and it is becoming harder for him to get around. His wife, Christina Sandoval reached out to their daughter-in-law, Janet Sandoval, to try to come up with a surprise for both men. The plan is to fly the Sandoval's to California in April of 2022 to surprise the two men with a reunion. The two of them have not seen one another in 30 years, and April 7, 2022, is Mike, Sr.'s birthday. Christina is unable to work due to disabilities, so Mike Jr. is their only source of income. This is completely out of the question for any of them, so we have decided to try to get help from family and friends. No donation is too small, and even sharing the story with others is appreciated. With your help, we can get these two men together once again for a long-awaited hug and reunion! Thank you all very much in advance.
