Hello, My name is Sloane Jensen, and I am reaching out to you today as a survivor of domestic abuse. With a heart full of hope and a deep desire to create a better life for my baby girl, and I, I am asking for your help. After enduring a five year long battle in an abusive marriage and being victim to unimaginable and relentless emotional, mental, verbal,and physical abuse, I found the courage and strenghth to escape from my husbands grip after he nearly ended my life on January 30th 2023.

I knew that my life would never be the same after that unforgettable day, but I had no idea the extent that a series of events could have such a profound impact on the outcome of my life. At the time of my fleaing I didn't know about the little secret that lived inside my belly. That surprise arrived 9 months later....and I named my blessing and miracle to my life; Reya Hope. I am convinced Reya is an angel that I was sent here to save me.

Although I am extremely blessed to have my daughter, we are currenrtly experimcong one of the most challenging times in our lives. As a single mother to my beautiful infant daughter, Reya and I find myself, homeless, jobless, without a vehicle or means for transportation and not to mention I am in severe financial ruins.The worst part of my whole situation is not having any family or friends to turn to. The fear and the ultimate loneliyness that I feel from the weight of these circumstances seems almost unbearable at times.

Every day is a struggle, and I am filled with a paralyzing fear and uncertainty about what the future will hold for Reya and I. I want nothing more than to provide a safe and stable life for my little girl, but survival weighs heavily on my shoulders and I am left scared to death of failing her and not being able to provide her with what she needs, but more importantly be able to give her the life she deserves. The loneliness and sadness I feel is crippling at times and seems it will never get better. I'm trying with every fiver in my being to hold on for her sake and mine.

Though it all, I have tried to remain determined to provide a stable and loving future for Reya. I want to show her that she can achieve anything she sets her mind to, that she is strong, and that dreams are worth fighting for. I have aspirations of continuing school, starting my own business, saving for a home, and even creating a college fund for Reya. I want to be the role model she deserves, demonstrating that resilience and hard work can lead to success, even in the face of adversity.
