Celebrate Richard’s Life & Help Ease His Final Days

Our best friend Richard is dying.

For 16 years, it’s been the three of us—Richard, Theresa, and I—inseparable, unbreakable, and full of laughter. We’ve built a friendship that has become a family, and Richard was always at its heart.

He was the highlight of every party, our dancing king of the disco floor. He loved '70s and '80s music, always chasing joy and bringing it to everyone around him. My children adored him. And when life felt too heavy for us to carry, Richard reminded us why we shouldn’t give up.

Theresa and I could spend days with him just being silly, with zero concern for what anyone thought, just soaking up life and friendship in its purest form.

Now we’ve been told he has less than two weeks to live. The cancer has spread throughout his body. He has no insurance, and neither does his family. We’re doing everything we can to make sure these final days are filled with dignity, comfort, and love—but we can’t do it alone.

This fundraiser is for him—for the love he gave so freely, and the peace he deserves now. Every donation helps us cover medical costs, hospice care, and all the things that make these final moments less about stress and more about love.
