Richard is a lifelong Chicagoan who is now living in Jamaica due to the United States's racist judicial and immigration systems. He is struggling both physically and emotionally due to the difficulty of adjusting to life in what to him is a foreign country. His diabetes has been hard to regulate due to severe food insecurity. At the same time, housing insecurity is contributing to a decline in his mental health. We are asking for your help today so that he can pay for needed doctors visits and medications.
