This is a fundraiser for local student and activist Rick Toledo, who has been suspended from Cal Poly Humboldt and arrested on trumped up charges, and has since been fired from his job after a protest requesting that the University completely divest from Israel, war, and genocide and to implement a Sanctuary Campus policy that actively protects students from ICE. This campaign is to help Rick with legal fees and hardship due to the arrest and his firing from his job at the school. Rick has been struggling and unable to find work due to the pending criminal charges and is terrified that he will soon lose his home and be unable to take care of his two adopted rescue cats. He is working hard to find a job and to fight back against the political repression he is facing from the school but he desperately needs community support in this difficult time.
