Rines/McKenzie Family
Dear family and friends,
This is Jon & Janet Wolff, Contessa's parents, sending you this letter.
As you may or may not know, Contessa's husband, Anthony Rines died on Saturday, August 15th from a lengthy battle with a serious illness. (Because many ask the question, it was not COVID.) He left behind my daughter, Contessa, and two beautiful girls, Isabella and Saiah. He is also survived by his mother, sister, and many nieces and nephews.
Before Anthony's illness became debilitating, he was laid off from his job. He had several interviews for new positions, but the illness became too much for him and he remained out of work. Anthony was the sole bread winner for the household with Contessa staying home with the girls as both girls have special needs. Unfortunately, the family's funds are extremely low. Because Anthony was laid off, there is no life insurance, so that the family is under a tremendous financial strain right now. Contessa and the girls will need to find a new place to live and have the means for deposits and all the expenses of moving.
Contessa will need all of our emotional, physical, and financial support for this unfortunate new beginning. Contessa is looking into refreshing her Associates Degree and returning to school so her job will better support her and the girls. Jon & I are helping Contessa with a more reliable vehicle and Amanda is staying with her for at least a couple of months to assist with the girls and life's new beginning. If you would also like to help Contessa, we would appreciate any contribution.
There will be a drive-by memorial at our house on Friday, August 28th beginning at 4pm until 7pm. At this time, we welcome you to drive by and offer your condolences. In lieu of flowers, we request monetary gifts. You may be seeing this on FreeFunder.com. If not, you can Zelle my phone number at (253) 905-8306 or use FreeFunder via the links below.
Thank you so much to everyone who has given their love, support, and condolences during this difficult time.
