We are a new church plant called Rio Next Gen. We are part of a multi church roll out set to launch at the end of October. Rio Next Gen's lead pastor and worship director will be Barry Wortz. While this opportunity has been prayed for, for more than five years, this endeavor presented itself only a few short weeks ago!

Donations and funds will be used to get the ministry up and running! Our church hopes to meet needs and love on as many people groups in the community as possible. The first priority, in our church, is to offer families that have members who are special needs or handicapped, a place to call their church home while being confident that their family member will have everything they need while there. This will require staff training and physical preparations to the building. Along with that, donations will help with any building updates or changes, initial salaries, equipment, building cost, etc.

Crowdfunding is a good way for all of our friends and family to contribute and feel like a part of something big! As previously mentioned there has been just weeks to prepare for this, not nearly enough time to raise all that is needed by the planting family alone. Our entire family has gone "all in" to get this church plant going! We are excited and devoted to give our beautiful community a place to become part of a huge family where everyone is safe to learn and grow in God.
