My friends brother, Joe, suddenly passed away last weekend. My friend, Angela Hoops (Erhardt) is the surviving next of kin. She is responsible for any and all costs for cremation, funeral and a probate lawyer since he had no will or last wishes. She does not have the funds to cover the expenses and does not have any family to assist. I am trying to help raise the money for her. Joe has two little girls that will also need support. I believe Joe has money in the bank and has assets, but we won't know any of that until we have a probate lawyer help to sort it all out. Cremation, funeral or memorial and lawyer fees are expected upfront and we need to get past that part first. Please help with donations and or any advice or suggestions. We need to figure something out soon so he can be cremated.
