Hi thanks for dropping by, I am so happy to be able to let you in on a glimpse our lives.
Most know of course the most obvious that I am on oxygen to keep enough of it in my blood to keep me alive.
What most don't know is the wonderful man who puts up with me is really why I keep living.
We have been together for 8 years and plan on many more.
Why Am I Running This Campaign?
Well we started this as a way to show people that just cause we hold a sign does not mean we do not have good intentions, and it also gives people a way to get to know us who would normally drive by.
I lived in a place that was infested with rats, roaches, and had numerous code issues dating back since 2006. At the time of us renting it the landlord did not inform us of his situation with the city of Providence or the fact that they were still fighting him in court. When we went to file a complaint if our own we were given the copy's of the current problems, and informed that if they come there while I am on oxygen they would call the DOH to make sure I was out.
So I am out and asking for help from the people of RI.
We have proof of all that we say as we understand how some people feel.
We thank you for taking the time just to read this.
What Will I Do With The Money?
First let me say we have a commitment from a service provider for a deposit on a new home, next the first 800 will go to the first months rent.
The rest of the money will go to buy a new bed and couch, and towels and such.
Before you say it yup I know all about the furniture bank with my health condition I must have clean items.
Wood items not so much but smells and such make breathing worse so I have to be very careful.
Will I fly a sign once I am in a house?
God willing NO. I can make a dollar stretch even with paying 800.00 in rent.
